Insect Lodge for Solitary Bees Ladybirds and Lacewings.
Purchased March 2004 I will try to get photo's of the various insects (hopefully) that will visit or make it their home.

Thought I would try this out it cost £9.99p lots of hidy holes for the little creatures. |

I have moved it from the patio..into this position as I felt that there was not enough insect activity near to it........... |
| I have fixed it about 5' from the ground ..to enable me to take photo's of "residents" easier..................... | ![]() |

In this position it should be much more successful, surrounded by shrubs and other plants ,south facing yet quite sheltered. |

This is a species if Megachile (leaf cutter bee) a number of which are using it to nest in,I presume because of the larger holes. |
