Skomer Island continued

One of the first things you notice are a number of bird carcasses,these are Manx Shearwaters a nocturnal nesting bird of which there are thousands on Skomer..... |
Here is a close up of one,you will not see any live ones during the daytime as they are out at sea gathering food only coming in under cover of darkness because they are attacked by black backed gulls etc. Some as you can see still do not make it....... |
